Incoming Calls Issues

Main Causes

The number is not correctly configured in the peoplefone Portal.

Check that you have a valid number (not expired, already ported, …).

Check that the number is assigned to the SIP Line where your VoIP-Device/Client is registered.

Your VoIP-Device/Client is not registered to the SIP Line where the number is assigned to.

Check the Call History in the peoplefone Portal.

You should see the Inbound Call with an error message.

Check the chapter «Troubleshooting» «Connection Issues»

The number is assigned to a SIP Line where a Call Forwarding is configured.

Check the Call History in the peoplefone Portal.

You should see the Inbound Call and the forwarded Outbound Call.

The destination VoIP-Device/Client rejects the call as Busy.

Check your VoIP-Device/Client and deactivate the Do-Not-Disturb.

You are already in a call. A second call is rejected as Busy.

Check your VoIP-Device/Client and deactivate the Call-Waiting.

Inbound Calls are sometimes working sometimes not.

Check the Session Timeout in the configuration of your Firewall/Router. Make sure it’s greater to 300 seconds.
